Scene summary
Act 2 scene 2
some of the clues Shakespeare has given us is that he he gives away how a cal aberration together with Caliban,Trincilo and Stephano. This gives us an idea that caliban may be wanting to over power Prospero. The people that we meet during this scene (Stephano & Trincilo) want to sell this monster in Naples to earn money. They also want to learn more about the island till they get off it. This makes me think that the significance of these characters is to help Caliban over through prospero. Another possibility is that they could trick Caliban to coming with him to Naples so they both can earn more money. They may think it is a dream because they were all drunk in the scene and might think it would be a dream. This makes me think that they have set a mood that wants you to now that caliban could be forming alliance as a secret. This sets a mood that is over throughing Prospero in one way or another.
